Just in! A fresh batch of the Le Orme DVD/2CD set "Live in Pennsylvania"! From Sonny Boy Management and Ice Records comes the first-ever live release from Italian symphonic legends, Le Orme, and it's a gem. Taken from their spectacular headline performance at NEARfest 2005, this combination DVD and double-CD release features a wonderful tracklist spanning the band's 35-plus year career. Classic albums such as "Felona e sorona" and "Contrappunti" are heavliy favored along with the excellent recent albums "L'infinito" and "Elementi." The band was in top form for this once-in-a-lifetime U.S. performance. This is quite frankly a must-have release.

It is with great excitement that we announce the release of Pure Reason Revolution, "Live at NEARfest 2007." The British upstart quartet took the NEARfest stage by storm with their unique combination of hard-driving riffs, Pink Floyd-esque soundscapes and fabulous vocal harmonies. Already known for their powerful live show, Pure Reason Revolution took it to yet another level with this energetic and raw performance. The band was in top form at NEARfest and is captured live for the first time on "Live at NEARfest 2007." The album will be release on June 20, 2008, the first day of NEARfest X.

We are proud to announce the release of our first NEARfest DVD compilation, "NEARfest 2005: Rising to the Surface." NEARfest 2005 featured powerful headliners Le Orme and IQ, and rare U.S. performances by Japanese fusion-masters Kenso and Belgian avant-garde cult favorites Present. The lineup was rounded out by Frogg Cafe, Wobbler, Knight Area, Matthew Parmenter, The Muffins, and Steve Roach. For an uninterupted 45 minutes, synth/sequencer master Steve Roach captivated the NEARfest audience with his ambient/electronic landscapes. On January 17th, NEARfest Records released "After the Storm", a benefit album in support of the survivors of Hurricane Katrina, which ravaged the Gulf Coast of the United States on August 29, 2005. "After the Storm" is a 2CD compilation of progressive rock bands, each of whom graciously donated music for this most worthy cause. The tracklisting is a venerable who's who of prog rock, featuring the likes of Kansas, Caravan, Nektar, Spock's Beard, The Flower Kings, Echolyn, Happy the Man and many many more. New Orleans' own Woodenhead also contributed to the album with a stirring live rendition of "Buzz Beat." From the first note of synthesizer and subsequent blast of space rock powerage, Hidria Spacefolk assumed control of the Zoellner Arts Center at NEARfest 2004. For over an hour, this young troupe of Finnish gents swirled and twirled their way deep into the minds of the mesmerized audience aided by a sequence of brilliant audio-visuals. What ensued was a full-out spiralled assault of head-grabbing dual guitar intertwined with dazzling synthesizer and Fender Rhodes textures, soul-stirring bass lines and hyperactive rhythms and fills. "Live Eleven a.m." captures Hidria Spacefolk's spectacular live performance at NEARfest 2004, from the adrenaline-bubbling grooves to the electricly-charged crowd. Release Date: February 22nd.
